I am having a Lotus Notes 8.0.2 which connect to Lotus Domino 6.5.5. I am going to allow multiple Notes Client to share one PC. I copy all the User.id to data folder. Notes client are switch to their own ID. I found out the location document, the email address and the local replication is follow the first installation user. Do u got any solution on this?
Subject: Share Drive, or USB drive.
Install the Notes on the PC, and setup the Data directory of the user on their respective network share or you can have then on a USB drive. Please follow the below steps.
→ Complete the program install of Notes client.
→ Edit Notes.ini under the Program folder and change the “Data=” to a Network share address or what ever drive path on the USB drive.
→ Create a Notes shortcut and Replace the start-in field with the Path of Data directory.
→ Start Lotus Notes, individual users will have their respective Data directory.
Copy the following files in data directory
DATA Directory files:
User.id
Pernames.ntf
Bookmarks.ntf
Names.nsf
Bookmarks.nsf
Desktop6.ndk.
Subject: It should be Directory rather than Data in Notes.ini
