Recently we have created a new Notes Domain (Address book) & moved our users to new Notes Domain (a long story)
For time being we are running two parallel Notes environments.
Any message goes to old domain transfer to new domain/server for delivery.
FN_LN@D1 resolved to FN_LN@D2
Now it is time to shut down the old domain & its server. But the problem is people have names/groups in their personal address book, which points to Old Notes domain.
I know, I can write an agent to update domain name in their Personal address book. But don’t want to take that route (some reason…)
My goal is any message which has Old domain listed should convert to new domain. My server has aliases for old Notes Domain.
We do have global domain doc set with the Old Notes domain. However it still send messages to a server in Old domain before it comes back to new domain.
I am missing something, don’t know what?
