In Domino 5 we have problem where multiple instances of chronos load will all instances indicating that they are initializing. This eventually crashes the server.
I understand the reason for this occurring is because chronos has not completed indexing all database’s within 1 hour and therefore another instance starts, and so on. The fix is simple, just rename or delete the chronos.exe file.
As we are looking at upgrading to Domino 6 this year and I am wondering if anyone knows whether this problem has been fixed or do we still need to rename or delete chronos.exe.
