Multiple incoming email address'

I’ve just migrated our platform over from Exchange to a notes/domino solution. It all went reasonably smoothly but I’m unable to give anyone multiple address’. ie I’d like postmaster@domain.com, admin@domain.com, etc. to reach me ontop of my usual address. I tried simple putting in extra address in the email field, separated by a carraige return but with no luck.

thanks for any help.

You can give users mulitple email addresses. In the user document in the public address book, there is a field called “User Name”, enter as many addresses you want the user to have here (each on a new line). Save the document and thats it.

Note that the defualt reply email address for the user will be the address in the internet address field.

The only negative about this alternate way is that anything in the User Name field on the person document could be used as part of the web server login.

Just wanted to make this aware of a possible risk.

Thanks everyone! I’ve just realised the default search is an exact match - not just containing the words: hence me not finding that other post. Sorry for posting an already discussed topic.

Ross,To accomplish this, you want to make mail in database document which will have the additional email addresses you want and it will point over to the mail file.
