I have a user who for some unknown reason can open more than one Inbox tab in his Notes Client. I have tried to reproduce this on my system with no success, but on his system it always works. He has the new mail popup notification enabled, and when he clicks on “Go To Inbox” it will open another Inbox tab if he has one open already. I’ve disabled that feature but he can still open more than one Inbox tab. Any suggestions?
Subject: Different window management settings?
My guess would be that it’s because of a difference in your and his window management settings, under File - Preferences - Windows and Themes.
(I can’t test this theory at the moment, though, because these have been temporarily disabled for our organization.)
