Multiple html views in form

OK web gurus - a nice simple one for you (I hope)…

I need to have 2x embedded html views in a document simultaneously so I am using the old iframe trick of

and then in the onLoad event:

document.getElementById(‘viewDiv’).innerHTML = window.frames[‘viewTitleFrame’].document.getElementById(‘changenotehtml’).innerHTML

This seems to work fine for documents in read mode but I need this to work in a dialog box (ie inside a form) and I have tried everything to access the equivalent DOM object to get at the innerHTML - if I use the above I get “document.frames has no properties”.

By now, even ludicrous suggestions appreciated.

You mentioned you are trying to make it work in a dialog box.Are the dialog box in a new window like a popup box?
