We have a group on our server called “All Staff” and sometimes the users copy this Group to their address book, or has a group by the same name. The Group in their local address book becomes out dated and when they mail using the group it does not go to all of the correct people. Even though they select it from the Domino Dirctory first. Even though I have the location document set to “Exhaustively check all address books” it does not show the two groups from the two address books. Sometime users think it is using the group from the Domino server and it is actually using the local copy, especially if the location document is set to “Stop after First match”.Thanks for your time.

This is the correct behavior. It will use the group from the local address book first. Users should be educated not to copy system groups into their local address book, or create same-named groups, because they will not be updated when the system group is updated.

Better you can hide (readers) this group from normal users and provide rights to only those users who all are actually using these groups.
