Can a server have multiple fully qualified domain names listed in its server document? Due to a State policy, we have to have a new standard domain name assigned to our servers, but we still want users pointed to the old server name to be able to hit the server. What’s the best way to handle this?
Subject: DNS
Keep the old name in DNS so the user’s connections will still work. Then you don’t have to worry about what’s in the server doc(s)
