Multiple e-mail accounts

Is there a way to check mail for multiple addresses, such as personal and business, from within one session?

Subject: Multiple e-mail accounts

Just came across your post and I’m not sure whether the response you received actually answered your question. If it did, please ignore this post; if not, read on!

I access two private e-mail accounts (Supanet and Tiscali) from the same Notes session at work. In my Address Book I have added entries under Accounts and Connections for the Supanet and Tiscali servers, and a location document that points to these. I could send you screenshots if it helps.

This doesn’t seem to work for Hotmail as it uses HTTP (if anyone knows of a way, I’d be interested to know)

Depending on the security settings on your Domino server, it is also possible to send mail that appears to come from your private address (although the message header will show that it is actually coming from your Domino server and not going through the ISP’s server). If you set your private e-mail address in the Location Document, initially you will probably find that it reverts overnight to your business address. This is due to an agent that runs on each Notes client that automatically resets every location document to match what is in the Domino directory. To avoid this happening, do the following:

. Set your private e-mail address in the appropriate Location Document

. Go into Edit mode on this location

. Click on Actions - Advanced - Set Update Flag

. When you see a pop-up box “Allow adminstrator to keep local settings updated” - click No. This will only affect the location document you are in.

Apologies if this is irrelevant to your original post, but it may help someone else.

Dear Bob,There is one way-

a) Click File menu.

b) Choose Tools and then Switch ID.

c) Now browse for the the ID file you want.

d) Click it and give the password.

Hope it will work fine.
