Multiple assignees

What’s the easiest way to go about this?

I have a workflow application where multiple people can be assigned an individual task. I need the workflow (email sent) to continue ONLY after all the tasks are completed. ??

Take a page from the TeamRoom. When an item is assigned, the names go to several fields (this is from memory, so I may have the fieldnames wrong): Reviewers keeps a permanent list of people assigned, and ReviewedByNotDone, which starts out with the same values as Reviewers, but does @Trim(@Replace(ReviewedByNotDone;@UserName;“”)) with every sign-off. The document is not considered complete until the field is empty, and the code works regardless of the initial number of assignees. The same approach would work for your workflow.

i would use hidden fields for every task which get set on completion. At the completion of every task, check the value of all the fields…if all are set; all tasks have been completed.

but how does that work where there could be a different number of assignees each time.

Hi Lori

Sorry for the late reply - our Workflow product Workflow Manager (http://www.ionet.co.nz/workflow) can do this, and the demo version downloadable from the site even has a working example and step-by-step guide of how you would do it.

Cheers
