Subject: RE: multilanguage support
You shouldn’t need to change anything, except of course that if it is MIME HTML, you have to think about how the characters are encoded in the HTML and whether you want to represent them in whatever form you’re copying them into. This is no different from what you have to do with <, and so forth in English, but there are more characters to be concerned about. This is why it’s often best to leave MIME data alone rather than trying to extract the text; the Notes client knows how to display the MIME data.
Of course, if you’re copying it elsewhere, to a location that only understands text, then you might need to figure out a conversion of the HTML to the corresponding characters.
