I must be missing something somewhere because I’m really confused about this issue…
OK I have a computed multi-value Authors field named “Authors” on a form. Here’s the code I’m using for the default value:
ServiceCenter := “Atlanta PMC-Central (GA)”;
SCCity := @Left(@Explode(ServiceCenter;" ");3) + “-PMC-”;
SCRegion := @Left(@Middle(ServiceCenter;“PMC-”;" (");3) + “-”;
SCState := @Middle(ServiceCenter;“(”;“)”);
@If(SCRegion = “-”;
SCAll := SCCity + SCState;
SCAll := SCCity + SCRegion + SCState
);
AllRoles := “[IT Admin],[App Admin],[” + SCAll + “]”;
@Prompt([ok];“”;AllRoles;“,”);
AllRoles;
Here’s the properties for the field:
Allow Multiple Values - checked
Separate values when user enters: Comma
Display separate values with: Comma
Now, the @prompt for AllRoles returns:
“[IT Admin],[App Admin],[ATL-PMC-CEN-GA]”
But the value of the Authors field is:
“[IT Admin],[App Admin],[ATL-PMC-CEN-GA]”
“[IT Admin],[App Admin],[PMC-PMC-CEN-GA]”
“[IT Admin],[App Admin],[(GA-PMC-CEN-GA]”
Also, I did a computed text area and made it’s value:
Authors
And the computed text shows:
[IT Admin],[App Admin],[ATL-PMC-CEN-GA]
So, what am I missing. There are no errors it just that the wrong value is being put there. Please help…
