Multi-monitor Woes

My workstation has two monitors. So convenient it is for the client and designer in separate monitors… oh not really!

The InfoBox won’t leave the primary monitor.

what a bummer!

Sub-actions is misaligned when shown.

When an action button with one of more sub-actions is clicked, the menu pops-out in the right edge of the button… when in the second monitor (secondary)

What the!?

The Auto-Completion in code editor (be it LS or @Formula) pops-up in the primary display only.

It’s like miles away from the code window. lol

Remember – it’s all one client. Designer just adds a couple of framesets (and a couple of libraries) to the mix.

I understand… it’s not a bug. it’s a limitation. it’s not multi-monitor aware.

… the pop-up help (tooltip) for syntax displays only in the primary monitor

I had this same problem… i upgraded to Lotus 8.0 Client and that seamed to come with a half fix.

The info window/properties window can now be dragged across screens but the (pathetic excuse for) intelesense window stays on my primary monitor…

Coming from .NET i personally feel IBM needs to REHALL their entire developement environment…

They are – the Designer for 8.5 is a completely different critter.
