MUI language

Hello, I get this error message each time I start the Notes client :

‘The language specified for the User Interface is not found in your notes\MUI directory (may have been uninstalled); proceeding with the default language.’

I tried to switch to different languages without succes. I looked for a MUI.dat in Vista to copy in the Notes folders but found none.

Subject: Solution - MUI Interface not found

Hello,

there is a value in the notes.ini which is called “UserInterface=de” for example and this will chose the right language for the client interface but if it isn’t installed your get this error message and fallback to english. May you had another installation before?

You can download the language packs (4 are available) for there right one.

Have a look at this:

Subject: Solution - Remove prompt for MUI Language not found

If you just want to remove the annoying prompt at start up, just delete the value in the notes.ini which is called “UserInterface=xx” where xx is your current language like en, de, etc. After deleting this line, it should not prompt you the error again.

Yong
