Hi
Does anyone know whether the Microsoft Exchange Connector for Lotus Notes whicj runs as a Windows NT service on the Microsoft Exchange Server and the Microsoft Exchange Calendar Connector are supported on Linux?
If so, can you direct me the the Web link reference.
Many thanks.

Hmmmmmm, the connector is an MS tool, installed on Windows. Microsft doesn’t know how to write code for other operating systems other than Windows, so I doubt they’d have anything.
The connector doesn’t have to be on the Exchange server itself, so you should probably setup a Windows server to act as the connecting box.
Yea, I know, buying yet another server license from the great and powerful MS.

Cheers Greg, may have to use another MS box in the interim.

You really don’t need to install “server” version of Windows. The main thing is that you have the Notes client installed on that particular box. The Notes client needs to be installed and setup properly, but does not need to be running.
How much traffic will be flowing thru this connector box? You can setup a simple Win2000/NT workstation and be in good shape. That’d be a very inexpensive method.

Cheers again Greg
Yeah, that’s what I’ll probably end up doing.

One more thing. You can save even more if your server isn’t loaded up, to install the Notes client ON the Exchange server machine itself. No extra hardware costs.
