We are going to upgrade our POP3 mail clients and we need to utilize both SMTP and LDAP Authentication. Has anyone done this across numerous machines with consistently successfull results?
For example 9 installations of Netscape 7.1 worked and 1 did not. Lotus has found that sometimes Netscape 7.1 and Mozilla 1.1 work and sometimes they do not work. We are probably looking to upgrade about 100 machines from Netscape 4.7 to Mozilla 1.4 or 1.5.
I’d appreciate any thoughts / experiences you can share. Thanks.
