Moving the Notes Data Directory to a New Drive

My Notes Data directory is on my C drive which is running short on space. I have plenty of space on my D drive and would like to set up a Notes Data directory there and move to it all of my .nsf files, etc.

How can I make Notes recognize this new path on the D drive? Should the notes.ini be moved to the new Notes Data directory? Should any particular settings be updated on the notes.ini or elsewhere?

Subject: notes.ini

in notes.ini file change the line Directory= to match the new location of the data directory. The ini file does not necessarily need to move but would depend on how Notes was installed on your computer.
