Our existing Domino “Data” folder exists in a drive (e-drive) other than the “C-Drive”. Because of this we are not able to see files in the “Tree View” in Domino Admin/Files…we have to switch to the “View All” files mode.I plan to create the proper folder structure on this “E-drive” meaning: e:\Lotus\Domino\Data and move all data to this newly created “Data” folder.
From what I am being told:
I should move this data within the Domino Admin
Edit the notes.ini file by replacing "e:" with “e:\Lotus\Domino\data”
You should not have to move the data with the admin client.
Stop the domino server.
Build the new directory structure.
Cut and paste all the data from the the root directory to the new directory.
Change any relevant registry entries (specifically those found in “My Computer\HKey_Local_Machine\Software\Lotus\Domino” and “My Computer\HKey_Local_Machine\Software\Lotus\Domino\1”
Change all relevant rows in the notes.ini
Start the dominio server.
Make sure you have a fall-back plan (if the changes don’t work, that you can “undo” them).
Having said that, I am quite confident that this is all that you would have to do.
