I think I have just made a mess… I have all my databases organized according to departments. Some departments have been renamed so what I did was also rename the subdirectory. Now I am getting the following message from DAOS:
“The DAOS enabled database D:\Lotus\Domino\data\Stabstelle\Öffentlichkeitsarbeit\Fotos.nsf was deleted (or is missing). Resync DAOS to clean up its object references.”
I understand what the problem is, what I am unsure about is what will happen when I run the cleanup - will the referenced files still be available or will they get deleted? Have I mucked up my system totally or will Domino just reference the files using the new folder structure?
After moving the databases I did a “load catalog” so that the Notes client would find the documents/databases.
