"Move" rules: strange behaviour

Hi allRather long time since I asked help here.

I set antispam rules (at server level) based upon the content of the object field. The action is “Move” to zzSpamBox.nsf.

What is strange is that matching mails are well moved, but they are available only in “All documents” view, not Inbox.

Any idea?

Hello

Assuming your zzSpam db inherits from a mail template, I would say

that Inbox is not a view, but a folder.

Try to move your docs to this folder, so.

Or maybe could you try a sendTo to zzSpam ?

Merci YannickBut: the DB is standard mailfile (from Mail7.ntf). I know that Inbox is a folder (not a view), but there is nothing in server’s router rules to select a particular folder/view as move target. Do you think I should set a “Mail-in database” entry in the servers’s names.nsf? If yes is the problem related with the owner of the zzSpamBox.nsf (I created it, but I don’t know what is the owner when a mail DB is not created at the time of a user registration). Or should I set the server itself as the DB owner?

If I create an entry in the directory, should I specify an email address?

I chose not to create a directory entry so that my users don’t see anything anything about spam in the “Send to” dialogs.

Hi Fab

Really…? I don’t know at this point.

Unfortunatly I’m sick (bronchitis), and I could not say.

I think you should try to stay within the standard mail processus.

i.e. set up your server in order to accept the mails for your zzSpam db.

Further, when forwarded, I do not believe that an email stays into the sent folder

in your users’ dbs…

I’m sorry, but I am very too tired for further explaining, I suggest to you to contact me by email :
