I would like to allow my users to login to DWA by using their shortname (as well the full name) and have found that I can use the “More name variations with lower security” in the security config. - It says as well this will allow to log in with only surname aswell… Is this such a good idea to enable?
As well have I found the setting “WebNameAuthentic=1” which allow this but…“WebNameAuthentic=1 instructs HTTP authentication to use the Domino Release 4.5 method of HTTP authentication (that is, the “you are who you log in as” method).” - What about this?
What alternatives to I have to give the users this access?
