Monday Morning Blues

It is monday morning and i have to Debug an application and fix some part of the code… my designer client crashed already 3 times…

i might get 10 crashes by midday…it will be a new record! i sould call Guinnes…

Please IBM, i don’t want more features for the next designer client for xmas… Just give me a Lotus Domino Designer which is not buggy… just fix 50% of all the bug… will be how many? over 200?

Giving us a Designer without bugs under the xmas tree will make us more productive i think more than 10%… which is in the whole IBM Development Community A LOT OF TIME… which means a lot of money…

What you’re seeing is probably an issue of long-standing problems with window focus in the Eclipse-based client. It will get fixed if enough people complain about it. But writing about it here doesn’t count; there need to be customer support incidents for the people who set priorities to pay attention.

Meanwhile, I think you will have fewer problems if you close the Designer and/or Administrator client before you start debugging. Most of the confusion comes about when switching focus between these windows.
