Modifying a reader field

Have a reader field in a main document that has by default, 2 Roles and the author document.

This is supposed to allow anyone with those roles, or the author of the document to read the doc…

This looks like:

[Omaha]

[LocalAdmin]

Bill Smith

I need to create actions to mark the doc Private and Public by removing the [Omaha] role, and only allowing the [LocalAdmin] and the author to see it.

What would be best way to do this? … without chance of losing access to record …

strName(0)= “[LocalAdmin]”

strName(1)= “Bill Smith”

set doc = … get a handle to the document some way

doc. = strName

set notesitem = doc.GetFirstItem(“”)

call notesitem.IsReaders = true

call doc.save, true, false,false)
