Modify Default Meeting Duration Using Template

We are looking to change the Default Duration Time for appointments and meetings for all Notes mail data bases.At this time all users use the default 60 minutes but need to modify it to default to a duration of 30 minutes.

At this point I could not identify an article that shows how it would be possible to do this by modifying the mail template.

We wish to achieve this without using a policy.

Tedy, did you ever figure out if this was possible to do from a policy? If not, was there another way? I tried to replace the design on an existing user and it didn’t change the setting in the users preferences.

It is set in the Calendar prodile of every users’s mail file
