So you expect us to believe that you know enough to do API programming, but you forgot your password or there is no backup copy of the ID anyplace?..
I do not buy it…

I have the ID file, But forgot the password.
I just test below coding using sendkeys. The Notes Client prompted and Password string passed to Notes Client.
I using my testing Notes ID , is worked. But need click some button.
I want using Notes API to test my forgot password
Sub s()
Dim ReturnValue, I, j
For I = 1 To 3
ReturnValue = Shell(“C:\Program Files\lotus\notes\notes.exe”, 1) ’ Run
AppActivate ReturnValue ’ Activate
'~~ Wait Notes Prompted
For j = 1 To 100000000 ’ my pc is 3.2GHZ machine
Next j
'send value to Notes
SendKeys “xxxx”, False
'~~ wait
For j = 1 To 1000000
Next j
'~ Pause
MsgBox I
Next
End Sub

It’s not impossible, but would require some reverse engineering to bypass the ‘figleaf protection’: after each failed password verification attempt there is a progressive timeout that cumulates very rapidly. Another option is to spawn processes starting their own Notes threads each checking a couple of passwords before the timeout gets too long.
For 10000 attempts at finding the password, both approaches may work but it is not for the faint of heart. The search space is sufficiently small to make it feasible.
We are not going to do it for you though: we have no idea whether or not that ID file is legitimately yours…
cheers,
