Missing Inbox via IMAP client

I cannot seem to figure this out. In any IMAP client, I cannot see the Inbox, and therefore, cannot get any mail. I can see all other folders I have created - about 15.

The lotus client seems to work just fine. With any other client, and I have tried a few different clients, all results in not seeing the Inbox.

Using Thunderbird for example, the error box states:

The command did not succeed. The mail server responded: SELECT failure, cannot select mailbox: Folder not found in IMAP name space.

Subject: Missing Inbox via IMAP client - same problem here

We encounter this problem with some of our users mail files, but others are ok. Regardless of the mail client, for some users the inbox is not shown via IMAP. All other folders and shared folders are visible. We have tried to upgrade the mail files to 8.0.2, removed all IMAP features and enable them back - no success.

It would be very nice to get this fixed, as our CTO’s inbox is also affected and he can’t use his mobile to read mails.

Thanks in advance for every suggestion!

Subject: Missing Inbox via IMAP client - Resolution

We had the same issue on our end, and I happened upon another post here where the answer was this simple:

1 - Disable IMAP NSF support for user’s mailfile by issuing the command: load convert -e- mail\usermail.nsf

2 - Enable IMAP NSF support for user’s mailfile by issuing the command: load convert -e mail\usermail.nsf

This seemed to fix the IMAP Inbox issues and now our folks can see their Inbox on the ir iPhones.
