We have been upgrading all of our client first to 8.5 and now to 8.5.1. After upgrading user mail file to the new mail85.ntf template users are starting to complaint that they are missing folders, I have this happen to me as well…has anyone with 8.5.1 seen this and how can I fix it…CJH
Subject: Missing Folders After Mail file Upgrade
Folders need to be “protected” by enabling the “Prohibit design refresh or replace to modify” flag for each view.
This could be done manually or you could use something like Power Tools “Find Unprotected Design Elements” to find and protect existing folders.

Subject: Missing Folders
Folders created by the user are protected by default (design). Did you check if somebody else had access to those mail files and created the folders for the users? Also, which ODS do the mail files have? Also I recommend to apply the new design template before the upgrade.
