HELP!!! One of our users has a problem where his buttons have gone in his calendar. He doesn’t have the ‘schedule a meeting’ or ‘new’ buttons so can’t add any entries to his calendar. I have opened his datbase on my machine and it looks OK. His ACL is set to designer. Anyone any ideas??
TIA

Is he accessing the same database on the server? Or does he use a local replica.
Are you able to log in as the user to replicate the access side.
If all settings appear to be correct. Restart the PC.

Ok, if they are not accessing a local copy of the database then it is either the Client Program or a file in the data directory.
Either reinstall Notes. If PC is on LAN then should be quick to do this.
OR move through these checks trying after each.
1/Delete the cache.dsk
2/Compact the workspace
3/Try a blank names.nsf - rename original
4/Try a black bookmark.nsf - rename original
5/Try a new notes.ini file - rename original
6/Try a blank desktop5.dsk (~6.ndk) - rename original
See if the fault goes away with one of these and document it.
