MIME Conversion Option (for outbound-messages)

Could someone tell me whats the best setting for the MIME Conversion Option (for outbound-messages.

Has someone has experience with setting this from “from Notes to Plain Text” into “from Notes to HTML”.

Thanks

Edit your Client Location document and go to the Mail Tab and then set…

Format for messages addressed to internet addresses:

MIME Format

The reason for do-ing this on the server is because we add a disclaimer to the mail-messages.

I would suggest Plain Text if you have to do this. The conversion to HTML is not as good as it could be.

One problem we have with the html-option is that some recipients do not receive attachments.

Is that also your ecperience ?

Or you could always add the disclaimer as a file attachment - not ideal, but have seen this done many times.

Subject: Or make a standard signature file that the User modifies w/ correct contact info.

We have a product going into beta shortly that handles disclaimers to be added to MIME e-mails, among other functions such as converting content to MIME with higher fidelity than Notes does. If you would be interested in participating or finding out more, contact me at Ben@GeniiSoft.com.
