One of my client is planning to upgrade their Application server to 6.0.1 which is currently in R5. Some 50 plus applications are running now which i need to migrate. When doing so, what are the things i have to take care of??Is there any specific Applications migration documentation which i can refer to?? I don’t have ND6 installed in my machine and hence will not be able to refer to the documentation which comes with ND6. Please advise if there is any other documentation…
The next thing is my client is planning to upgrade their Application server cos of the recent release of the “Multiple vulnereabilities in Lotus Notes Domino”. But, to start with they are looking to upgrade only their Application servers and not their Mail servers which will remain in R5 itself. Is it advisable to do so?? Like, the Application server and all the clients upgraded to 6.0.1 but keeping their Mail server still in R5. Please advise on this too… Thanks for your time and effort.
