Migration Outlook/Exchange to ND

Hello all,

we plan to migrate about 20 users (about 3 GB mail) from Outlook/Exchange 2000 to Notes/Domino 6.51.

This 20 users and the Exchange Server are at a location (Internet access 1 MB/s)

, which is connected via VPN to the main location. The mailboxes should be moved to the main location.

First question:

Any experiences with Domino Upgrade Service (on Domino 6 or Domino 6.5) respectively the CMT tool from Binarytree?

Second question:

What is the best way to realize the migration in this case?

I think it doesn’t make sense migrating the mail boxes online from Exchange at the small location to the main location with a 1MBit/s line.

hiI have done this last month but it was on the same network, I could tell you few things i had to do,

1- I used Upgrade Service it was good, fast, but IT WILL NOT migrate any user if he has a single virus in any of his attachements, so make sure they are virus free.

2- it is straight forward, its better you supply them with a password, what i did is that i used the same password for all users then had them change it when they first log in.

in your situation you can do one of two things, migrate one mail box at a time since they are only 20 users, or go to their location and migrate locally.
