Migration from Domino 5 to Domino 8 is it possible?

Dear All ,

Please advice me if there is any way we can migrate user from Domino 5 to Domino 8 directly if not then how we can do it ?

Please provide me any documentation for migration to domino 8 .

Of course, I would do it as follows:

Read the 6 to 8 upgrade guide and follow the steps as closely as applicable

BACKUP: make sure that you have backed up everything, servers and data file

Leave at least 1 server as v5 till for all customised v5 applications if there are problems with v8 until rectified.

Proceed in phases, Do the power users first- move their mail files to 8 first install v8 clients on their pcs first and test for 2-4 weeks)

Do the servers first then do the clients

Do not update the Mail file design till you update the notes clients
