We are facing issue to convert somes french 6.56 mailboxes to version 8.5.
After the convert process, it’s appeared that the inbox view is not migrated correctly because we do not have the “New” button with the options lists and the “Show button” doesn’t work.
Below the response from the IBM Support (PMR 05756,664,706) →
Backup the mail inside the Inbox folder.
Remove manually the Inbox folder
Replace the design of the Db
Restore the messages in the new inbox.
This is NOT acceptable !

How exactly are you converting the mail databases?
Did you install the LP ok? If you create a new mail database from scratch, does it show ok?

We have installed the LP in the addional mode.
We are running the load Convert -u -r mail\ * Mail85.ntf
If we try to create a New Db it’s working …
We just have the convert process which failed fore french mailboxes.
Subject: Try.
Try adding the -gFrench switch when you make the convert.
For example -gSpanish translates the db to spanish. I am assuming -gFrench is for french.

We already tried this option but it do not resolve the issue.
