Migrating users from one domain to another

Hi Folks,

I need help, recently my company acquire another company they also have lotus domino,unfortunately they lost cert.id password but they have OU melcert.id password under which all users are registered. I agree, that’s what I did and it works perfectly. I was able to migrate user successfully and checked User’s security show both Certificate hope no issue once user will use encrypted emails.

Subject: You can test whether encrypted mail can be read

You can test whether encryption works by sending a user an encrypted test message, and then having them confirm that they can see the contents of the message.

Hi,

Can anyone verify if I create a new Certifier and certify all users,ou certifier,servers etc. and later use this certifier to cross certify for migration will that work? Thanks

Subject: Are both servers and users in the acquired company in the same OU?

If so, you can cross-certify with their OU, and migrate the users relatively easily.
