Migrating problem from Outlook to Lotus

I’m having a problem to migrate my existing Mails from Outlook to Lotus.

  1. When migrating the sent items from Outlook all the SendTo field of the mails are getting converted to the User’s Name and hence name wise search on SendTo field becomes impossible

  2. When migrating my Address Book from Outlook, the groups set in Outlook do not show in Lotus, Here all the addresses come as a list.

Please suggest

First, if you are working with DAMO 6.5.2, you should get access to the DAMO eta forum and work with DAMO 6.5.5 Beta 2. It is also expected that DAMO 6.5.5 Gold will be available in mid-December. If you are interested in access to the DAMO forum, just create another entry in this thread.

Are you talking about migrating from the MS Exchange server to the Domino server and the associated field mapping that is paert of that process?

Please review chapter 5 of the DAMO Deployment/Migration Guide Redbook for documentation of our Domino Migration Tool functionality, which allows you to migrate users and their mail files from Exchange to Domino, for use in either the DAMO or Notes client. Also, I would suggest upgrading to the 6.5.4 version of the Notes client, in order to obtain the most current migration functionality.
