I just recently updated 2 of my 7.0.3 servers to 8.0.2 and now the dwa7.ntf template is gone. I’m not ready to migrate everyone to R8 yet and I need this template. Where did it got? Seems odd that an old template would be deleted since it’s never happened in past upgrades.

I recently upgraded two of my server from 6.5.5 to 8.0.2 and I lost my Inotes6.ntf templates. Fortunatly I still had one other server not upgraded yet and I was able to copy the template across. Otherwise I would had to pull it from backup. Not sure why the upgrade deletes these files, but I had the same experience as you.Thanks for your time

Inotes, and DWA7.ntf are not needed as Domino 8 mail8.ntf support HTTP, need not worry as the mail files are now ready for web access.

mail8.ntf will work with R7 clients. Haven’t test it fully out yet.
About the out of office, in Domino R8 the thing is that you can change from agent to service in the server document. To use that function you need to have R8 clients and templates. Can it be something with that?

Ok, so try with the mail8.ntf Template.
Work, BUT – The user can´t now activate the out of office reply.
