Hi all,i want to migrate our Traveler server running on Windows Server to RedHat linux. Has anyone done this and can tell me what i have to do (copy database ‘xyz’ etc.)?
I know i can set up a complete new server but i want to avoid that users have to register again.
Thanks!
Niki
Subject: RE: Migrate Traveler from Windows to Linux
Just did that yesterday in an test-environment.This is what we did and seems to work fine:
Upgrade Windows-Domino to 8.5.2 and traveler to 8.5.2.
Install Linux-Domino and Traveler.
Copy Data-Directory to linux.
Adjust Pathes in notes.ini and NTSConfig.xml.
Deleted NTSLogging.properties and NTSServletLogging.properties.
(You might grep for windows pathes)
Start Domino.

We did the same thing last week and it worked out just as well. Before I saw this post I contacted IBM to ask them and they said that it could not be done.
Weird.

09/23/2010 03:28:41 PM RM Evaluation: Cannot install Resource Model : /opt/notesdata/rmeval/RMLogicalDisk.zip

Did it happen on your server too? If yes, how can if fix this?
Best regards,
