MIghty Mouse support on Mac

The improved support for vertical scrolling with the Mighty Mouse ball is very welcome. Is it planned to continue this effort to also encompass support for horizontal scrolling with the Mighty Mouse ball as well?

Not having to navigate to grasp the scrollers makes the UI much easier to navigate when making those quick checks between meetings or before dashing off to lunch. 8.5 has been a quantum leap in productivity for me over 7.0.3.

I also suspect that those using the two finger scrolling on Macbook laptop touch-pads would also appreciate the support for horizontal scrolling as well.

Mac: Mighty mouse cannot scroll horizontally in View & Document

Subject: Actually, horizontal scrolling is already implemented for documents, but not views. </>

Subject: My world is a view

Apparently living in a view isn’t something IBM sees as “normal” but I find the preview pane to be my main window into Notes. I rarely if ever double click an email to open it as a document.

I’m also not “unusual” for typical users here, we process piles of email each day. Opening an closing each one as a document would affect productivity.

Subject: I agree… Preview is my life!

I only open stuff outside the preview pane when Notes forces me to (to reply to calendar invites, etc.) Otherwise, it’s all Preview, all the time for me.
