MIDAS on Citrix

Citrix users get the Lotus Notes error dialog:

“Error loading USE or USELSX module: *lsxrtc”

Are there any special procedures to be followed when using MIDAS in conjunktion with a Citrix installation?

It is a release 6.0.2.CF1 installation on Windows 2000. We have put the two .dll files: LICMIDAS.DLL (which i think is a license file) and nlsxrtc.dll (which i think is the actual program) into the Notes program directory but users keep getting a Lotus Notes error dialog saying:

“Error loading USE or USELSX module: *lsxrtc”

I am looking very much forward to hearing from You.

Kind regards

There are two possible problems:1) You have a licensing issue, which I doubt, as I as involved with setting this up, or

  1. you don’t have the latest version configured to set the $MidasTempDirectory properly in your Notes.INI, so temp files are being created in your read only partition.

Please contact me directly (see contact details at Genii Software | ContactUs) and I’ll make sure you are set up correctly. The Midas Rich Text LSX will run on Citrix, but it takes a bit of configuration to get it right, due to the read-only nature of the default temp directory location.

Dear Ben.

Thank You very much for Your very quick response. Actually the problem is related to one of my employers clients, and I have passed on Your response to the responsible administration guy(s) at the client’s service team. I think You will be contacted by them, or if not, they might return to me, and I will take it from there.

Thanks again Ben

Kind Regards
