We have a Domino 5.05 running in our working environment now.We are plan to upgrade the domino from 5.05 to 6.0. However,we would use a new server to install the Domino 6.0.So,we would like to know if there were any way could miagrate all configuration and user mailbox from old server running domino 5.05 to a new server running domino 6.0.Thanks for any suggestion.

If possible, upgrade to 6.5, because the end of 6.0 code stream should be expected in approx. 1 1/2 years. Copy all *.nsf, custom templates, servers.id to your new server into the directories, wich will used later on by the 6.x server installation. Please are aware of additional Notes server plugins, like Antivirus- and Backupsolutions (ready for 6.x?), of course also your applications should be checked first against 6.x.
IBMs RedBooks are a very good source, the upgrade guide is highly recommended.

Thanks for your suggestion.How about the notes.ini file in domino 5.05 server.Do we need to also copy it to the new server for the installation of domino 6.0.I got one more question.If i plan to install the domino 6.0/6.5 on the new server,then miagrate all mailbox and configuration of domino 5.05 to the new server.What solution for this plan if there were any one.Thanks for any suggestion.
