Message sent with Lotus are received as .eml attachment

Hello all,

I don’t understand why a simple text message sent with Lotus Notes v7 is received as .eml attached file under Entourage 2008 (MacOs Leopard) and Outlook 2007 (Windows XP).

Do you know how to solve this problem ?

All the messages sent with another mail application or webmail are received normally.

On the Lotus Notes sending the e-mail what are the connection options for sending outgoing e-mail?

Are you encrypting the e-mail?

What is the format for internet addresses set to?

How are the e-mails being sent? Via a Notes Server or SMTP server?
