Message Routing Problem ----Need help

Hi All,

I have a user , whenever she receives any email frm within and outside domains somehow her emails gets forwarded to test@test.com …I checked her person doc in all the servers and Forwarding address is blank , I also checked if there are any rules she might have , but hse has no rules created …and still her email gets forwarded to test@test.com…

I created a New Message tracking Request in the Domino Administrator and checked / Traced the email message and it indicted that Inbound Recipient and outbound Recipient was showing test@test.com … and the Next Server indicated : Test.Com

Where can i do the setting to remove this test@test.com.

Please help

Thanks in advance,

ask the user if she once had the rule, but them deleted it. It could still be cached with the router if it was not deleted properly.

Xei,

How dow you remove the router cache?

Do I need to restart the SMTP router , how does it work…

I asked the user if she had a rule anytime set , but she says she doesn’t remember.

Thanks,

try this …

sh nlcache reset

restart task router

It maybe wise to call IBM on this, they are the ones who gave me this. Always research a solution before you turn it on … you never know.

another fyi on rules…

if a user exceeds the 100 rule limit, it will kill the mail server. User’s sometimes create rules to manage their mail file. I have an issue once, 2 days of mail living hell, because a user’s 100+ rules kept bring the box down.

IBM support was great on that!!!
