If a mail is rejected due to rules which you have defined it returns a mail to the sender with the following message:
Your message could not be delivered to: john@doe.com, because:
Error transferring to mail.joedoe.COM; SMTP Protocol Returned a Permanent Error 554 Message rejected for policy reasons.
Question: Is there any way to configure/edit the respons text?

Yes, thats correct. But this only applies to connecting hosts found in DNS-blacklist filter.
But for example we also refuse mail with an .exe attachment. We would like customize the message the server send back to the sender.
