When I run the configuration on a windows mobile 6.1 phone with traveler I must use both mail and calendar to sync. If I then continue I must replace the calendar post on the phone.
Is there a way to merge calendar post on the phone?

Unfortunately no, it is not currently possible to merge calendar data. We have reviewed this function several times, but it always comes back to integrity of data - the server copy can be trusted, but the device data is unknown and therefore very difficult to process and keep safe. Of course we are always looking to improve so will continue to investigate this function.
