I have used two frame for my application ,in top frame i have used a menu and in bottum frame i need effects but i am facing a problem that the menu in top frame is visible in top frame only its not visible in second frame i.e bottum frame .for this i have used a CSS property Z-index in both of the frame but its not working so please give me a solution for that fix.

as far as i know i think z-index doesnt work across frames. please check to make sure. forgive me if i am wrong since i have been a little out of touch. why dont u use divs instead of frames?
