Memory issue in Linux

I am running kernel 2.4.18-19.8.0 with 756MB RAM. When I first boot the box up without Domino running I have 39MB of RAM used. After starting Domino I have 620MB RAM used. After about a half a day of use I have about 745MB RAM used and my swap file begins to fill up. By the end of the day I need to reboot the server. I have been getting reports of users not being able to access their mail or other databases thru the notes client and web, but at the same time other users are fine. If anyone can help me out or point me in another direction it would be appreciated.

Thanks

I’m running two Domino 6.0.2CF2 servers in a cluster on Red Hat 7.3. Each server got 2GB of ram. After a boot, the memory usage is 3-400mb, after a couple of days both servers clain 2gb of memory…

Box 1 = 2.4.18

Box 2 = 2.4.20

The servers are pure webservers, no Notesusers at all. And the load is not very high…

Mem: 2061440K av, 2043776K used, 17664K free

After apx 8-9 days the servers crash…

Anyone got the same experience?

We run a Domino 6.0.3 on a server with 1.5GB of RAM, running Windows 2000 server edition…

After boot-up it takes ~400MB and a couple of days later the server performance gets really bad (specially when listing files). We saw that at this point he is already using almost 1.4GB of RAM.

We are now booting the server weekly, though this is for sure not the best solution! Anyone else ?
