Hi,we are using the Domino server on a VM (VMWare Server). This was a good idea on Domino 7.0.2 with Sametime.
After migrating to Domino 8.0.1 the performance dropped off.
The same server doubled his memory amount. It now takes 2.2 GB memory.
We are just 20 people, perhaps 10 on the same time on the server.
How can we change the sever configuration to use less memory?

Do you mean that you have had to allocate more physical memory to the virtual machine, or you find that the virtual machine is utilizing an increased amount of physical memory?
I am attempting to confirm what the performance degradation is that you are reporting.

With Domino 7 the VM had 1 GB physical memory allocated and used about 900 MB. After the update to 8 I’ve increased the allocated physical memory to 2 GB and the system uses now 2.2 GB (with also increased swap file).
