Meeting time in calendar views is waaay out

We have one user whose calendar is acting extremely strange.

He has many meetings scheduled throughout the week. Each of the meeting documents has the correct meeting times recorded in the fields (according to teh document properties).

The meeting documents display the correct times.

The “day at a glance” displays the correct times.

However, any of the various calendar views displays the meetings 5 or 6 hours premature (e.g. a 9AM meeting is shown to start at 4AM).

We have been through the Vista settings and everything seems perfect.

We have modified the Location document various ways, all to no avail.

We currently have it set up to use the O/S time.

The O/S time is not configured to adjust for DST.

We upgraded from 8.0.1 to 8.0.2, and that didn’t help.

We then applied FP1 and that didn’t help either.

We have since upgraded the server to 8.5, and that has had no result.

It seems like it is ONLY the views that represent the wrong time.

Can anyone help to explain this issue?

Cheers!

Subject: Check mailbox/agenda preferences

Hi,

The Notes settings might be set to use the OS, but there’s another time settings field specific to the mailbox and calendar.

Open either one, press “More->Preferences”. Tab “Calendar & Todo” + “Scheduling”.

Not sure if that is it, but it might do the trick.

if you are using RnR, also note that it’s the server that will need yo update all entries. This might take some minutes or go ‘restart se’

Subject: Checked that

Thanks very much for the response.

I checked that setting, and it is set to “Local Time”.

When I expanded the drop-down list, it was set on the appropriate time zone as well.

Back to the drawing board I’m afraid!

Cheers,

T.

Subject: same issue

We are having the same issue with a user. Only, for this user, it is only happening on thin clients, not a desktop.
