Hi,
First question, should meeting requests that go from internal user to an external user who has Exchange successfully work for both parties by default or is extra work involved in setting this up?
Second question, when sending meeting request from internal to external user, when external user accepts and a reply goes back to internal user, an error appears as it tries to use the *full DNS name as the reply email address rather the internal users normal email address.
i.e. internal user = john.doe@bla.com
but when internal user sends email to external party, and external party accepts with a reply, error message is generated that looks like this
The following recipient(s) could not be reached:
john_doe/BLA@bla_notes.int.bla.com on 15/01/2008 11:03 AM - The message could not be delivered because the recipient's destination email system is unknown or invalid. Please check the address and try again, or contact your system administrator to verify connectivity to the email system of the recipient.
As you can see, when creating a meeting, its using a different email address for the internal user then the one that would be normally used to send email.
Help … please.
