Subject: RE: Meeting reminder
Hi Alex,
Thanks for your response.
I just want to ask that setting the Preferences by the procedure you explained, is that really necessary? Isn’t there any way that we can Enable the alarm in the preferences programatically?
The below code do not work for me at all. It do not display a reminder to me.
Set cnote1 = New NotesDocument (db)
msg1 = “Meeting for you folks”
Set date1 = New NotesDateTime(“28-NOV-06 08:00:00 AM EST Call In, Meeting start 08:00:00 AM EST” )
Set date2 = New NotesDateTime(“28-NOV-06 08:30:00 AM EST”)
cnote1.Body = msg1
cnote1.Form = “Appointment”
cnote1.AppointmentType = “3”
cnote1.StartDateTime = date1.LSLocalTime
cnote1.EndDateTime = date2.LSLocalTime
cnote1.StartDate = date1.LSLocalTime
cnote1.CalendarDateTime = date1.LSLocalTime
Call cnote1.ReplaceItemValue (“$Alarm”, 1)
Call cnote1.ReplaceItemValue (“$AlarmDescription”, msg1)
Call cnote1.ReplaceItemValue (“$AlarmMemoOptions”, “”)
Call cnote1.ReplaceItemValue (“$AlarmOffset”, -5)
Call cnote1.ReplaceItemValue (“$AlarmUnit”, “M”)
cnote1.Alarms = “1”
cnote1.ComputeWithForm False,False
cnote1.save True, True
cnote1.PutInFolder(“$Alarms”)
It places the meeting details on the calendar, but do not display the alarm 5 min prior to the meeting.
PLEASE can somebody help me with this.
Thanks in advance.
